How superapps help Brazilians organise their lives

Offering everything from financial services to an array of virtual storefronts, superapps have the potential to gain a substantial foothold among Brazil’s mobile-first population. But what do people expect from these platforms? And how can they help brands build long-term loyalty?

Tijana Jankovic

Tijana Jankovic is the country manager of Rappi Brazil. She has been working at Rappi since 2020, previously as general manager for the city of São Paulo. Tijana has a background in international economy from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She previously worked at Google, Uber, and BNP Paribas.

Barbara Rezende is the superapp product owner at Brazilian insurance giant Porto Seguro. Prior to that, she was the digital channels consultant at Sky Brazil and the digital commerce senior analyst at Itau, where she worked on the development of the bank’s digital channels, website, and mobile customer service.
