Robert Saunders is a professor of geopolitics and international relations at the State University of New York. He studies politics and popular culture, particularly Nordic television, and the way television both reflects and anticipates reality. His articles have appeared in 

, as well as other journals. In addition to his academic activities, he also works as an independent brand consultant.

Lars Pynt Andersen is an associate professor at the departments of communication and psychology, Aalborg University, Denmark. His research interests include Nordic consumer culture, advertising, and Danish and Scandinavian television. He has published a study on Danish and British audience reception of TV series
