A graduate student in Social Psychology at the University of the Philippines, his research explores stigma, folkways, and the psychology of everyday queer life. Outside work, he writes personal essays on intimacy, identity, and quiet forms of rebellion, published in Tint Journal, Katitikan, and Adelaide Literary Magazine. Ann Gabrielle Domingo is a cultural desk researcher at Canvas8. She graduated with a degree in Communication from Ateneo de Manila University, where she took up journalism and advertising tracks while dabbling in social sciences classes. Passionate about tracking Asia’s cultural shifts, she’s also written for the likes of Vogue Philippines, Rappler, and Neocha. She enjoys downtime with her Kindle, curating alternative music playlists, or discovering new hangout spots in Metro Manila.
Gilly Smith is an award-winning food writer and podcaster with a career spanning over 30 years. Her weekly podcast, Cooking the Books with Gilly Smith, features interviews with top food writers and covers all of life through the prism of food. A food podcasting pioneer, The delicious.podcast, which she produced and presented for Delicious Magazine, was the first podcast to be nominated for a Fortnum and Mason Award in 2017. She has written an array of books, mainly discussing the influence of culture on food in its various forms, as well as a number of articles for national titles and academic journals.
