How are ‘hospital deserts’ impacting rural Americans?

There are many reasons for hospital closures that could affect the healthcare of rural Americans – as well as the economic stability of the communities in which they reside. So why exactly are these rural hospitals at risk and how are hospitals and populations threatened by closure seeking out solutions?

Bryan Lyndick

Bryan Lydick joined Redwood Area Hospital as CEO in 2012.
