Collagerie’s curated fashion edits tackle choice fatigue

Launched by ex-Vogue editors, e-commerce platform Collagerie offers an edit of brands that range from high-end to easily affordable. Designed to mirror the glossy aesthetic found in magazines, the site meets fashion fans’ expectations for curated, highly stylized online shopping options.

Aiming to streamline the plethora of products available on different shopping platforms, Collagerie provides a pared-back selection of fashion items from across the web. Headed up by former Vogue editors Lucinda Chambers and Serena Hood, the site showcases curated ‘edits’ and partners with up-and-coming photographers, make-up artists, and hair stylists. Shoppers can browse the images for inspiration and then shop the looks, with featured brands including established luxury labels, high-street favourites, and emerging independents. “We kept asking ourselves, ‘why isn’t there a very curated shopping platform out there, one that’s focused on the product, that’s beautifully designed – and not in black and white – and without the endless scroll?” says Hood.
