There's been plenty of social change in India in terms of gender equality, but it hasn’t found its way into the sports industry. To challenge this, Nike has released a powerful advert celebrating female athletes, showing them running, fighting and taking part in contact sports.

Menstruation is not spoken about in India, and a lack of information is putting over 300 million women at risk. A campaign by feminine hygiene brand Whisper encourages women to talk about their periods, and rewards them for doing so.
