Apple's SIM disrupts the wireless market

At its October 2014 event, Apple announced several upgrades to its iPad, iMac and Mac Mini ranges. But buried in the Keynote presentation was Apple's own SIM, which lets people easily switch between mobile providers for the data plans for their iPad.
