City camera maps help people avoid facial recognitionAmnesty International, in partnership with tech advocacy, privacy, and civil liberties groups, will create a map that shows the location of surveillance cameras in major cities, beginning with New York. It will tap into the power of crowdsourcing by relying on people to share the cameras’ locations.
