Renaming apprenticeships could reduce cultural bias

Apprenticeships are often misperceived by Britons, despite the scope of courses available – from auctioneering and law to joinery and hairdressing. A report by The Social Market Foundation thinks new titling could help give visibility to the range of skills training on offer and reduce a cultural bias against them.
