It may be tempting to cross a road when you haven't got the green light, but it's also dangerous. French road safety body DRIEA is frightening unlawful pedestrians and publicly shaming them through photos on social media, aiming to stop jaywalkers in their tracks ‘without the impact’.

Many people aspire to leave their mark on the world, but some individuals take it a little too literally. Mount Everest has been plagued by graffiti left behind by tourists for too long, and the Chinese government has resorted to shaming them to reign in this bad behaviour.
