MTV has teamed up with The Echo Nest for Music Meter, the latest chart tracking the most ‘buzzed-about’ artists online. It’s the first of several music discovery, consumption and interaction products due to be launched by the two companies. “We developed a really strong algorithm that says what music fans are talking about,” says MTV’s Shannon Connolly.
