Photographer VJ $ehvermögen and graffiti artist JIAR are Lichtfaktor, and they make lighting the centrepiece of their work, rather than using it as a subtle backdrop. Focusing on cities by night, the luminous series is created by using long-term bulb exposure with paint; the aesthetic result is pretty spectacular, and has coined the self-explanatory term 'lightwriting'.
