As climate anxiety mounts and dystopian narratives dominate media, the solarpunk movement is gaining momentum. Envisioning a future where humanity thrives amid the challenges of climate change, solarpunk embraces a harmony of nature and technology. Can it reshape hopes for a sustainable future?

Andrew Dana Hudson

Andrew Dana Hudson is a speculative fiction writer, sustainability researcher, and futurist. Author of Our Shared Storm: A Novel of Five Climate Futures, his short stories have also appeared in Slate’s Future Tense, Lightspeed Magazine, Escape Pod, Vice’s Terraform, MIT Technology Review, and Grist. Hudson is also an Imaginary College Fellow at the Arizona State University Center for Science and the Imagination.

Adam Flynn
