Translating mask adds tech perk to social distancing

Face masks are the ubiquitous item of 2020, but the fact that they cover our mouths makes it hard to communicate. Donut Robotics, a Japanese start-up, has launched a smart mask that not only amplifies people’s voices but translates speech into eight languages, offering people augmented capabilities.
