But when it comes to online privacy, Americans' opinions are resoundingly negative.

Described as the sending of sexually explicit images or text messages through a mobile device, sexting has become a growing phenomenon amongst smartphone-wielding teenagers. But a law in the Australian state of Victoria has made it illegal to sext without consent.
