Dr. Yi Li

Dr. Yi Li is a senior lecturer of marketing at Macquarie Business School, Macquarie University. She has extensive experience teaching Marketing Management, Marketing Research, and Marketing Communications in the MBA, postgraduate, and undergraduate programs. Her academic research focuses on consumer psychology and consumer decision-making, with an emphasis on consumers’ lay intuitions and their influences on spending decisions, food choices, and adoption of new technologies.

Kara Ortiga

Kara Ortiga is a PhD candidate at Macquarie University in Sydney. Her research focuses on new media audiences and their relationships with technology, politics, and information. Before jumping into academia, she was a journalist in the Philippines, covering culture and the arts. Her work has been published in Esquire, VICE, and CNN Philippines, among a few.
