Sexual wellness has entered the mainstream, making lovers refocus on self-care, health, and sensuality. With vibrators and lube being stocked in Boots, Sephora, and even John Lewis, the commercial success of this approach is clear – but how exactly did it happen, and how can brands capitalise?

Kate Tikhomirova

Kate Tikhomirova is the co-founder of sexual wellness brand Quanna, which offers, among other products, lubricant made with CBD and female libido supplements. A graduate of LSE and a beauty and lifestyle influencer, she set up Quanna with her friend Dr Dmitry Loktionov, a gynaecologist, after the pair found themselves bemoaning the loss of intimacy during the pandemic lockdown in London.
