What’s driving grassroots netball interest in the UK?

Netball in the UK has been attracting a growing following, with the success of the English national squad and the proliferation of netball clubs seeing the number of fans and participants surge. But what else is driving this interest? And how can brands tap into and encourage its growth?

Kelly Walker

Kelly Walker co-hosts a netball podcast called Replayed that is 'by the fans for the fans'. It has around 1,000 Twitter followers and an average of 700 listeners per episode. She has played netball since she was a young child, and today she continues to play as well as attend live games throughout the season including men’s netball matches, premiership netball, and internationals.

She has her finger on the pulse of all things netball and its future, and is also passionate about women's sport in general and how we can push for more financial support and recognition for it.
