When it comes to data, there’s a stark disparity between what people want, and what they do – although 52% of people in the UK wouldn’t sell their information to their favourite brand at any price, only 10% of Britons always read the Ts & Cs or privacy policies of online services. This means that, despite strong opinions on who should have a handle on their data, people have a habit of relinquishing control over their private information.
