How is the launderette being refreshed?

Once known as ‘gossip shops for lazy people’, the sight of a launderette now seems novel, with few people seeming to use them. But a new breed of establishments is popping up in cities worldwide – reinvigorated and rebranded for a different set of consumer needs. What’s driving this revival?

Loulou Storey

Loulou Storey is a style coach and stylist consulting for individuals and brands in the UK and America. Her career began in retail management and she now runs her own style agency, The Styling Storey. Seventeen years of styling women has given her a deep understanding from both sides of the retail world as to what women need and want.
