Businesses have long adapted their prices to deal with changes in supply and demand, but as shopping moves online, the price of almost anything can be changed instantly with little cost and effort. Whether a computer game on Amazon, a t-shirt on eBay, a hotel booking or a travel ticket – the prices of these goods already change several times a day, and while such pricing may be off-putting to some (like those who pay the higher price), for others, it puts the thrill of bartering back into buying.
