When a sex scandal arose last year that drove tearful family man Anthony Weiner to resign from his position as congressman, a few quirks separated the case from Bill Clinton’s scandal a decade earlier. Bill Clinton's affair came to light after evidence was obtained through a violation of privacy; however, Weiner's scandal – which saw him tweeting a sexually suggestive photograph out to 40,000 followers, rather than the girl it was intended for – was made public by his own ineptitude at understanding how social media works.
