Porkcamp promises a deeper understanding of the rituals associated with meat eating. After connecting online, avid foodies meet up for a weekend that begins with the slaughtering of a pig. After some basic butchery lessons, the animal is then turned into nose-to-tail pork products from black pudding to pork loin. The weekend culminates in the cooking and eating of the pig in a communal dinner.
