Since 2008, we’ve been keeping tabs on how the US is changing the world from our London base. We’ve tracked subcultures from the heartland to the coast, and discovered how the artisanal became the hyper-local. Now, we’re opening our first American office in the next step of our venture to understand people and culture worldwide, serving our US clients on their home turf.

Over the past five years, our American clients have grown to include (humblebrag) Nike, Google, Mother NYC, FCB, Mistress, and Fahrenheit 212, which makes an American HQ the logical next step. In order to deliver the best in client services, editorial, and strategic research capabilities, we’ve shipped our strategy director Sam Shaw and strategic partnerships manager Jacob Broman-Minish over from London to build the office from the ground up.

“We’ve always operated globally, but our new office will help us delve deeper into American culture, which will also benefit our clients elsewhere,” says founder and managing director Nick Morris. “Many of our existing clients have operations in the US and we know there’s demand. When we started in 2008, we knew what we could do but didn’t yet have customer success stories. Now, we’re starting with a proven track record of providing unrivalled insights that help some of the world’s most successful organisations.”

Our network of researchers and experts on the ground across the US means we already boast a wealth of content and intel from all over the world – whether exploring why butchery is the coolest job on the block or dissecting the success of Hamilton. But our growth out of Clerkenwell to Brooklyn will mean an increased quality, depth and breadth of our North American Library content. And with the help of our new Americas Editor, Alex Quicho, we’ll be bringing you closer to our experts and disruptors than ever before.

The new office opens on the 25th of September 2017 at WeWork Dumbo Heights, 81 Prospect Street, NY 11201. Pop in for tea and crumpets, or coffee and donuts.
