Writer and advocate for youth empowerment and technology-driven participation
Sudhanshu Kaushik is a writer and advocate for youth empowerment, democracy, and civic technology. He founded the Young India Foundation, registering 25 million young voters and has helped 50 candidates run for office. As founder of the Centre for Youth Policy, he has spearheaded research on youth engagement. He also leads a nonprofit for Indian students across the world. An MBA Civic Scholar at the University of Chicago and an alumnus of the University of Oxford, Sudhanshu has been featured in global outlets like The New York Times and NPR. He has delivered a TED Talk alongside Shah Rukh Khan on youth, given talks at the White House and the UN, and became a published author in 2023 for his book The Future Is Ours: The Political Promise of India's Youth.
