Gender inequalities in paid and unpaid work and worker wellbeing
Shireen Kanji is a professor of work and organisation at Brunel University London. She previously worked at the Universities of Birmingham, Leicester, Cambridge, and Basel. Her research and consultancy span high-income and low-income countries. Her research examines gender inequality in organisations, the working hours of men and women, the work-family interface, performance appraisal, career choices, and wellbeing. Kanji's work has been widely cited in the media, including in the Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Times, Time Magazine, Wortschaftswoche, ITV, and BBC News. She has appeared twice on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour.
