Print and TV journalist with expertise in war reporting
Rania Abouzeid is an award-winning print and TV journalist who has reported from across the Middle East and South Asia for some two decades. Her expertise includes war reporting, human and women's rights, and political and social upheaval. She's the author of three critically acclaimed books about the war in Syria and has presented TV documentaries, including for the UK's Channel 4. She's the recipient of numerous fellowships, including the Harvard Nieman, Columbia University's Ochberg, and the European Council on Foreign Relations fellowship. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Time Magazine, National Geographic, and many other outlets. Fluent in Arabic and English, she lives in Beirut, Lebanon.
