C. Winter Han is a professor of sociology at Middlebury College. He's an expert in the areas of race, gender, and sexuality and the author or editor of four books and nearly 50 academic articles on racism, sexism, and homophobia. He has lectured extensively on the ways that media images and social structures work to maintain systems of racial, gender, and class inequality. Prior to becoming an academic, he was an award-winning journalist covering issues of race, racism, and other issues important to minority communities. He has worked with both for-profit and non-profit organisations on diversity and equity projects.
