Faris is Chief Innovation Officer at MDC Partners and founding partner of Spies&Assassins, their creative technology boutique. He is trying to make everything more awesome.

Previously, as EVP Chief Technology Strategist at McCann-Erickson [NYC], he developed consumer involved ideas for Nikon and Verizon. As Digital Ninja at groundbreaking agency Naked Communications, in London, Sydney and New York, he worked with brands like Google and Sony.

Faris writes for Fast Company, Contagious Magazine, and Forbes and is lucky enough to be invited to speak about this sort of thing all over the world. He won the President’s Prize from the IPA for his thesis on the future of brands. He has been on juries for the Clios, Campaign Awards and the One Show, and is the President of the Jury for the NEW category at the London International Awards for the second year running.

Campaign named his blog, Talent Imitates, Genius Steals, one of the top ten advertising blogs in the UK and chose him as a 'Face to Watch' in January 2008...a week before he left the country to crack the States, where no one reads Campaign.

His blog lives here. Follow him on Twitter here.
