Since 2004, Fabrizio has co-ordinated Ebeltoft's annual research project, which examines retail innovations, focusing on emerging retail trends and analysing the most innovative retail case studies worldwide.
Fabrizio Valente is a 'Neapolitan around the World' with more than 25 years experience in the retail and consumer fields. In 1990 he founded Ebeltoft, a Business Alliance of 18 companies working worldwide to help retailers and manufacturers to understanding retail channels and build successful strategies.

Since its foundation members of Ebeltoft work for 38 of the world’s largest Top 100 Retailers and 15 of the world’s Top 20 largest manufacturers. In 2001 he founded Kiki Lab, a firm that specializes in retail consultancy, research and training.

Since 2004 Fabrizio has coordinated Ebeltoft’s annual research project looking into retail innovations, focusing on emerging retail trends and analysing the most innovative retail case studies worldwide. Retail Innovations 5 – Beating the 'crisis' through innovation: trends and cases from the retail world, was published in May 2009.

Fabrizio is the only Italian to be invited to sit on the judging panel of the Retail Innovation Award at the World Retail Congress. He will be chairing the panel at the 2010 World Retail Congress in Berlin, where the expert jury will be formed entirely of Ebeltoft members. This year's WRC will also host the launch of the next Retail Innovations, available from April 22.
