    • Consultant, Australia
    • Strategy and Insights Director of creative publishing studio Right Angle. Barrie also has a double major in English and Philosophy and a Law degree from The Australian National University.

In 2006 Barrie launched the first Right Angle project: an online guide to subcultural Melbourne titled ThreeThousand which quickly became a seminal cultural reference for trend leaders and early adopters. The publication model has since been taken to all of Australia’s largest cities and Right Angle now commands the attention of a formidably influential audience as well as the brands that want to be part of their lives.

Outside of publishing Right Angle is now busily engaged in strategic and marketing capacities by governments and brands that want to understand what makes the inner-city tick. From developing thought pieces and custom publications to experiential marketing campaigns the team at Right Angle are now leaving their footprint right across Australia in a myriad of ways with clients such as MINI, ABSOLUT as well as brands that don’t write their names in upper case – they also own a Rooftop Cinema which has featured in both Monocle and Wallpaper* as one of the most exceptional cinemas in the world.
