    Scope
'Unhotel' service onefinestay allows well-heeled travellers to live like locals in luxurious surroundings. A concierge service and careful property curation provide value at a time when comparison sites are seeing hotels lose their spark.

The internet is increasingly providing new ways for travellers to connect, allowing people to offer a space on their couch, or let a spare room. As yet, the emphasis on such services has been on cost efficiency, but onefinestay has changed that. A home rental service that transforms luxury homes in New York and London into 'unhotels' for short stays, it has received over $15m in venture capital funding, and is about to launch globally. Its major investors include the CEO of lastminute.com and the co-founder of ActiveHotels.
