With just 3% of UK energy sources renewable and little expectation that big energy suppliers will do anything about it, a new platform called Abundance is bringing communities together to fund alternative sources of power.
The new Abundance website lets small investors put their money directly into renewable energy projects in the UK. The platform is the latest in a string of new services that aim to democratise finance and allow ordinary people to choose more ethical investments. -
