    As with many other forms of entertainment, sport is seeing an increased desire from fans not just to watch, but also to participate, interact and get involved. This has been facilitated by the rise of social media, which gives fans unprecedented access to their favourite players and teams, and provides a kind of two-way communication that was previously impossible.
