    As technology develops, so do our expectations of what it can deliver. Texts, tweets, emails and phone calls allow us to communicate with anyone, anywhere, at any time. But the written word, or even a voice, does not replicate the power of visual communication. Simply put, we want to see, not just hear or read. Hai Di Lao, a restaurant in China, has tapped into this desire for the visual with the launch of a virtual dining concept that allows diners 1,200km apart to come together and eat in one space via LCD screens.
