    Scope
    As fears of financial meltdown in 2012 take hold and the discourse of civil unrest and natural disaster dominates the media and social landscape, there is a palpable sense of unease spreading across many sections of society. This is manifesting itself in a variety of ways, from moderate, common-sense attempts to maintain a sense of self-reliance, to a rejection of mainstream governments and systems of control.

    From the boardroom to the back garden, more people are embracing the importance of being prepared for the worst.
