    Scope
    McDonald’s is launching its own TV channel. It will air in restaurants, screening film trailers and music videos, as well as purpose-built programming and local-interest content. The channel aims to be family-friendly, have mass appeal and become part of the ‘McDonald’s experience’ for in-branch customers.

    Currently, 800 McDonald's restaurants in Southern and Central California have undertaken the initiative, with an estimated audience of 18-20 million. If it proves to be a success, the scheme is set to go national.
